One Spark has arrived and CoWork Jax is honored to be a venue for creators.

Here’s the info you’ll need:

  • The opening ceremony will be held Tuesday, April 7 at 6 pm in Hemming Park.

  • Creator showcases will be held from 11 am until 9 pm on Wednesday thru Saturday and from 11 am until 3 pm on Sunday.

  • The closing ceremony and awards will be held Sunday, April 12 at 5 pm in Hemming Park.

 

You might ask, "Where is CoWork Jax?"

  • We are located at 5 W. Forsyth St., Suite 200
  • We are at the corner of Main St. and Forsyth St.
  • See Perdue? Awesome, they're our downstairs neighbor! Just go up to the second floor and check us out.

  • open for coworking

    • All CoWork Jax members can work for free starting at 8:30AM on Tuesday-Sunday and running through Speaker Series and Creator Showcase hours

    • Non-member Day Passes are $25/each

    • Join CoWork Jax during One Spark and save on your first membership payment. 2015 Creators save 15%. Everyone else saves 10%.

Thursday, april 9 

  • Music creator meetup - 6:30pm

    • We will be hosting a meet up event for musical Creators in an effort for the festival's many musicians to network and build community in one convenient place. 

    • There will be live music from Somebody Else (Berlin), Fort Stories and Passerine.

    • Mixed-in with the three bands, we will also host open mic opportunities for the Creators in attendance. 

Friday, April 10

  • Community manager meetup - 10:00am

    • If you're a coworking, accelerator, incubator, startup community manager, or just curious about what we do, join us for this opportunity to meet and share ideas.
       
    • Coffee and breakfast treats will be provided.

saturday, april 11

  • Fashion show & creator mixer - 6:30pm

    • Local streetwear brand and Creator, Graffiti House, is hosting a fashion show to showcase various local brands.
       
    • Come check out what local fashion designers are creating and mingle with the artists.

Winners of the juried music category at One Spark Berlin, Berlin Music Campus is crossing the Atlantic to showcase their project at One Spark 2015. These folks are passionate about getting together ambitious musicians and creative talents from around the world to create a space in Berlin where they can work together on music productions, videos and show designs - all mentored by established coaches from the music business.

Action Marketing Platform (AMP) combines educational programming and online resources to provide a structured system for improving both the understanding and application of marketing theories and techniques.

Rock My Image's Kenny Harper, the advertising agency behind AMP, is a member of our CoWork Jax community and we are proud to host them for One Spark 2015.

In doing so, they seek to teach them that a disability does not have to be an inability. You can find them in the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts at 300 W. Water St., as a part of the #EdSpark feature venue.
